Learning Support Assistant – Waltham Forest – Secondary School – September start * Learning Support Assistant – Waltham Forest * Learning Support Assistant – Mainstream Secondary School * Learning Support Assistant – Long term supply, Full-time * Learning Support Assistant – £90 – 115 per day As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and other support staff, you will provide targeted assistance to students who require additional support due to learning difficulties, disabilities, or social/emotional needs. About the Role – Learning Support Assistant (LSA) * Supporting individual students on a one-to-one basis or within small groups. * Assisting in the preparation and delivery of differentiated learning materials. * Helping to manage classroom behaviour and encourage positive social interaction. * Monitoring student progress and feeding back to teaching staff and parents as appropriate. * Supporting pupils in developing confidence, independence, and engagement with their learning. * Promoting a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. About the school – Learning Support Assistant (LSA) This mainstream secondary school based in the London borough of Waltham forest cater to students aged between 11 to 18. Overall this school caters to roughly 700 students where they have a Sixth form provision on site. The school is based a short distance from Leyton station, accessible by both tube and bus.
