Learning Support Assistant - A Unique Opportunity in a Specialist School Environment
📍 Location: Barnet
📅 Full Time | Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:00 PM
💷 £450 £550 per week

We are looking for passionate, dedicated individuals to join a remarkable school in Barnet-a warm, purpose-built environment created specifically for children aged 5-16 with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, as well as social communication needs, including Autism.
This is the perfect opportunity for recent graduates, aspiring teachers, psychologists, or anyone eager to gain experience supporting children with additional needs.

What We're Looking For:
An understanding, empathetic approach
Interest in working with students with SEND, including Autism and SEMH
Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to learn
DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
Team Teach training (or willingness to attend)
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting student's learning and personal development both 1:1 and in classroom settings
Upholding a safe, nurturing learning environment in collaboration with teaching staff
Encouraging positive behaviour and reinforcing school values
Being a consistent, friendly presence for students who depend on stability and care
