Salary: £85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in Crewe, who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible, ahead of a full-time post starting in September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students by supporting them both inside and outside the classroom. Whether you're an experienced Teaching Assistant or someone looking to take their first step into education, we want to hear from you.
About the Role:
Working closely with class teachers to support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Providing one-to-one and small group support, particularly for students with additional learning needs (SEND)
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their academic, emotional and social development
Assisting with behaviour management and encouraging student engagement
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have prior experience working with young people, ideally in a school or education setting
Be calm, patient and confident when working with students of varying needs and abilities
Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
Have a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for helping students achieve their full potential
Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS check (on the Update Service or through Tradewind)
