Learning Support Assistant – Help Shape Bright Futures Location: Daventry Contract: Full-time, Term-time only Start Date: September 2025 Salary: Competitive Are you someone who believes words matter? We’re looking for a confident communicator with exceptional spoken and written English to join our dynamic secondary school as a Learning Support Assistant. This is more than just classroom support – it’s about championing student voice, helping them access the curriculum, and giving them the tools to succeed. What makes this role different? You’ll be working one-to-one and in small groups, supporting students who need a boost in confidence, communication, and literacy. You'll help bridge the gap between subject content and understanding – your clear communication will be their pathway to progress. You’ll support students emotionally and academically, becoming a key point of trust and encouragement. No two days will be the same – expect variety, challenge, and moments of real impact. What We’re Looking For: Excellent spoken and written English – grammar, clarity and tone matter here. A calm, professional and patient presence in the classroom. Ability to build relationships with students, staff and families. A proactive attitude – someone who spots needs and takes initiative.
