We're working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the heart of Wandsworth, seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team from September. 🔍 About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a key role in helping students access the curriculum and succeed both academically and personally. You'll work closely with classroom teachers and the SEN team to provide tailored support-either one-to-one or in small groups-ensuring students with additional learning needs are fully included in school life.
✅ Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support for pupils with SEN or learning difficulties
Help implement EHCPs and targeted learning plans
Assist with classroom management and differentiation
Support students with emotional or behavioural challenges
Track and report on student progress to staff and parents
🎯 We're looking for someone who:
Has previous experience in a school or youth work setting (preferred but not essential)
Is enthusiastic, proactive, and patient
Can build strong, positive relationships with young people
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ideally holds a relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE, Psychology degree, or similar)
