Brook Street are offering an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to help learners aged 16-19 throughout their training programme. You will play an important role in supporting them with their progress towards achieving their learning outcomes.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated and be able to take a flexible approach. You will have good organisations and communication skills and experience working with young people in a classroom setting or learning environment. You will be able to empower others and demonstrate a commitment to fostering growing.

Help students when needed so they can finish the work given by their tutors.
Support the teaching of different learning programs and make sure students stay involved.
Keep students interested and motivated during lessons, and make sure they complete their work.
Make sure each student's learning needs are met.
Help students learn well, both in groups and one-on-one.
Support students in building their skills and self-confidence.
Use technology to support students' learning and help them improve their maths and English.
Help students understand instructions by explaining or breaking them down when needed.
Encourage and motivate students regularly.
Help tutors by making sure all student paperwork is done correctly and on time.
Keep tutors updated every day about how students are doing.
Help tutors create lesson plans that include whole class, individual, pair, group, and different learning activities.
Create or find useful learning materials to support students.
