We are currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Classroom Assistants for roles starting in September 2025 across schools in the Macclesfield and Congleton areas. About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside class teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of SEND needs. These may include autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Your support will help ensure every child can thrive in a safe and inclusive learning environment. Key Responsibilities Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND Assist with the planning and delivery of tailored learning activities Help maintain an inclusive, structured, and supportive classroom environment Support behaviour management and promote student independence and confidence Monitor and report on pupil progress to teachers and SENCOs   What We’re Looking For Experience working with children or young people with SEND (in a school or care setting preferred) A calm, empathetic, and flexible approach to individual needs Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine interest in inclusive education and pupil wellbeing Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential   Why Work With Us?
