Job Description
Reeson Education is working with a caring and inclusive primary school in Putney who are seeking a full-time Learning Support Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 6 pupil requiring emotional support and assistance in managing challenging behaviour. This long-term role starts in September 2025.
The Role:
Providing consistent, calm and supportive 1:1 assistance
Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
Helping the pupil access learning and build resilience
Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO and pastoral team
Ideal Candidate:
Experience working with children who present SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
Confident, patient and emotionally resilient
Knowledge of de-escalation strategies or behaviour plans
A strong team player with excellent communication skills
Passionate about making a positive difference in a child's school journey
