We are working with a specialist school in North London, providing education for children and young people aged 5–19 with autism and complex learning needs. About the Role:
We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants to join our experienced and dedicated team. In this role, you will:
Provide individual and small group support to students in a classroom setting
Assist with the delivery of tailored educational and therapeutic programmes
Help create a calm, structured, and nurturing learning environment
Encourage students to develop confidence, independence, and life skills

Previous experience working with children or young people with autism or special educational needs is beneficial, but not essential

Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide support to children with autism, fostering a positive learning environment.
Engage in effective communication with students to enhance their understanding and learning.
Collaborate with teachers to adapt lesson plans and activities for early childhood education.
Monitor and document student progress, ensuring their needs are met throughout the day.
Facilitate toddler care and support during playtime and structured activities.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Pay: £90.00-£110.00 per day
