Learning Support Assistant - Southwark - Immediate Start
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a committed Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term position starting immediately and continuing through to the end of the academic year.
In this vital role, you will support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), working both within the classroom and in small group settings. You'll collaborate closely with teachers to adapt lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and help create an environment where all students can thrive.
What we're looking for:
Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school or educational setting
A background supporting students with SEND
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
Strong communication skills and a calm, proactive approach
