Contract: Long-term agency placement (via ANZUK), with potential for permanent opportunities

Learning Support Assistant – Primary School – Harrow (September Start)
ANZUK Education is working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrow to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to join their team this September. This full-time role will involve supporting a Year 2 class, with a focus on providing tailored academic and emotional support to pupils with a range of learning needs.
Whether you’ve worked in education, care, or youth work settings, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils in Year 2 with their learning, both in whole-class settings and through targeted 1:1 or small-group interventions
* Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCo to deliver strategies tailored to individual needs
* Assist with classroom routines and help create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
* Encourage pupil independence, confidence, and emotional well-being
* Monitor and report on pupil progress to relevant staff members
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience working with children, particularly in a primary or SEN support capacity
* A patient, nurturing, and flexible approach to behaviour and learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
* Availability for a full-time role starting September 2025
