Learning Support Assistant – Maths Specialist
Location: Uxbridge, West London
Salary: £110 – £135 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Long-term

An Alternative Provision in Uxbridge is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant with a Maths specialism to support pupils who may face barriers to learning, both academically and emotionally.
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of students who require tailored support and encouragement to thrive.
The Role
Provide targeted Maths support to students, both 1:1 and in small groups.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and accessible lessons.
Support students with additional learning, emotional, and behavioural needs.
Help track progress and implement strategies to raise attainment in Maths.
Encourage students’ confidence, resilience, and enthusiasm for learning.
The Ideal Candidate
Strong subject knowledge in Maths (A-Level or higher desirable).
Experience supporting young people with SEMH, SEN, or in Alternative Provision.
Ability to motivate and inspire pupils who may have disengaged from education.
Resilient, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
