Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm (Term Time)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Islington. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs in a supportive and inclusive school environment.
About the Role:
Work 1:1 and in small groups with children with EHCPs and additional learning needs (e.g., autism, ADHD, speech & language needs)
Support classroom learning, adapting tasks and resources to suit individual needs
Help create a nurturing, inclusive environment where every child feels valued
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to deliver tailored support
Support emotional regulation, communication skills, and positive behaviour strategies
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting pupils with additional needs in a school or childcare setting
Knowledge of EHCPs, SEN strategies, and inclusive classroom practice
A caring, patient, and proactive individual with excellent communication skills
Ability to commit to full-time hours and start immediately
