Position: Supply Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Key Stages 3 & 4

Are you passionate about supporting young people in their education? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking flexible and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to work on a supply basis across secondary schools in Stoke-on-Trent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain classroom experience, support students with additional needs, or maintain flexibility in their working week. Whether you're available full-time or just a few days per week, we want to hear from you.
Key responsibilities:
Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils, including those with SEND
Assisting the class teacher in managing behaviour and promoting engagement
Supporting students across a range of subjects and ability levels
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment
Following school policies and contributing to the wider school community
The ideal candidate will:
Have experience working with young people in an educational or care setting
Be patient, reliable, and able to use their initiative
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be confident working with students with a variety of needs
Have (or be willing to apply for) an enhanced DBS check and complete safeguarding checks
