Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment seeks a Learning Support Assistant to join a supportive Secondary School in Selly Oak. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a genuine interest in supporting student's learning and development, possess effective communication skills, and have a firm grasp of educational principles. Previous experience supporing individuals with Special Education Needs and Disabilities is desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small group assistance to students during learning sessions.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Assist students with additional needs, including those with special educational requirements.
Participate in the preparation and organisation of learning materials.
Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress.Requirements:
Previous experience supporting individuals with SEND is desirable.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in working with children.Application Process:
