Learning Support Specialist Teacher - Independent School, North London
Permanent Position | Competitive Salary (in line with experience + school supplement)
£48,000 - £65,000

SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with our client, a highly regarded independent school in North London, to recruit a Learning Support Specialist Teacher for a permanent position in the Upper School.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a specialist teacher to make a measurable impact on learning in the Upper School ( a lot of time in KS3). The successful candidate will focus on delivering targeted support in Maths and Literacy to groups and individuals, helping students with SpLD (Specific Learning Difficulties) to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.

Skills and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Education, or Bachelor's Degree in any subject with PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate of Education), or equivalent.
Level 5 or Level 7 SpLD qualification.
Evidence of successful intervention work with students with SpLD profiles.
Several years of demonstrable teaching experience, including KS3/KS4.
Strong knowledge and ability to support learning in Maths and Literacy.
Ability to establish successful relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
