Learning Support Assistant - Tonbridge and Malling, Kent
The Highlights:
Location: Tonbridge and Malling area
Hours: 21 - 35 hours per week
Pay: £14/hr
Age Group: Post-16

Do you have the skills and confidence to support students with learning needs and disabilities?
In this rewarding role, you'll provide academic and pastoral support to students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) or identified Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND). You'll be supporting learners working towards qualifications from Level 1 to Level 3, including Functional Skills and GCSE English and Maths in classroom, practical and workshop settings.
The successful Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant will be an excellent communicator, with the ability to adapt their approach effectively to suit different stakeholders and needs of students, you will be empathetic, adaptable, proactive and committed to inclusive education with the ability to think creatively to provide different resolutions that arise within your role.
As a Learning Support Assistant at this college in the Tonbridge area;
You will be experience supporting / working alongside students with SEN / SEMH / SEND
You will be educated to C grade Maths and English GCSE or equivalent.
You will be driven, resilient and have an ability to adapt quicklyApply
