Learning Support Assistant Opportunity – Start October 2025 | £89+ per day | Newport
Location: Newport (Supportive & Inclusive Primary School)
Start Date: October 2025
Pay: From £89 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract Type: Term-Time Only

A welcoming and supportive primary school in Newport is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team this October. Whether you’re just starting out or already have classroom experience, this is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable skills in a friendly and encouraging environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily activities
Working 1:1 or in small groups with pupils, including those with ALN (Additional Learning Needs)
Delivering targeted interventions to support academic progress
Creating a positive, safe and engaging learning environment
Assisting with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
What We’re Looking For:
Caring, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals
A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
Experience with ALN is helpful but not essential
Strong teamwork and communication skills
A proactive and adaptable attitude
