James Ray Recruitment is partnering with a school in Knowsley to recruit passionate individuals to join their team as Learning Support Assistants. This full-time role is available immediately and will continue until the end of the academic term and could become a permanent for the right candidate.
About the role:
The Learning Support Assistant (LSA) role involves providing assistance to students particularly those with Moderate Learning Difficulties. Responsibilities include supporting learning activities under the guidance of classroom teachers, offering one-on-one or small group support, aiding with classroom organisation and behaviour management, and collaborating with staff to implement individual education plans.
Who is the ideal candidate?
* Providing support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Assisting students in understanding and completing class assignments
* Offering one-on-one support and guidance to students who require additional assistance
