Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: M30, Greater Manchester
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term to permanent
Reeson Education are recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an alternative provision in M33. The Learning Support Assistant will support pupils aged 11-16 with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other learning needs. This full-time Learning Support Assistant role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive, dynamic environment where every child's progress matters.
Learning Support Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist pupils with complex learning and behavioural needs as a Learning Support Assistant
Work with teachers to implement personalised strategies
Encourage engagement, independence, and social skills
Support behaviour management using positive reinforcement
Observe and track pupil progress as a Learning Support Assistant
Help create a structured and motivating learning environment
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interventions
Foster resilience, confidence, and a growth mindset
Promote inclusion and tailored learning approachesLearning Support Assistant Requirements:
Experience supporting young people with SEMH or additional needs desirable.
Patient, adaptable, and proactive Learning Support Assistant.
