Learning Support Assistant - Lewisham
Immediate Start | Full-Time, Long-Term | Competitive Weekly Pay via PAYE
Tradewind Recruitment is seeking passionate and reliable Learning Support Assistants to join inclusive secondary schools in Lewisham and across South East London. These are full-time, long-term positions starting immediately and continuing until the end of the academic year, with the potential to extend.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Help students access the curriculum and stay engaged in lessons
Assist teachers in delivering inclusive and differentiated instruction
Work collaboratively with staff and families to support student progress and well-being
We're looking for individuals who:
Have previous child-based experience (e.g. school, tutoring, youth work, or similar)
Have experience supporting students with SEND
Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or are willing to apply)
Are dependable, proactive, and committed to making a difference
