Day Rate: £95-£105 per day
Contract: Long-term to Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Are you a confident and caring Learning Support Assistant looking to support children in Key Stage 2 this September?
Long Term Futures are working with an outstanding primary school in the NG7 area of Nottingham to recruit a KS2 Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a full-time role starting in September 2025. The school is inclusive, well-resourced, and highly supportive of staff and pupils alike.
You'll be working across Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with additional learning needs both in and out of the classroom. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, resilience, and a genuine desire to help children thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide in-class support to children in Years 3-6, including pupils with SEN or EAL needs
Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy, and emotional regulation
Promote positive behaviour and engagement with learning
Assist with preparing learning materials and supporting class routines
Work collaboratively with class teachers, the SENCO, and pastoral teamWe're Looking For:
A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) or relevant experience
Prior experience working in a KS2 setting or supporting pupils aged 7-11
Confidence supporting a range of learning styles and needs
A calm, patient, and adaptable attitude
