Learning Support Assistant – Wokingham
Location: Wokingham
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Wokingham. This is an excellent opportunity to support children who require additional help to achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support students with additional learning needs across various subjects
* Work under the guidance of the class teacher to adapt learning materials
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to help students stay engaged
* Assist with classroom management and promote positive behaviour
* Encourage student independence and confidence in learning
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting
* Patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
