Learning Support Assistant - Medway Towns (Complex Needs Specialism)
Full-time, Monday to Friday
£90 per day

Do you have a passion for making a genuine difference in the lives of primary and secondary-aged students with Complex Needs? If so, this role could be the perfect fit!
We are looking for dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join special needs schools in the Medway Towns area, supporting primary and secondary-aged students with a wide range of complex needs, including communication difficulties, sensory processing challenges, and associated medical or physical needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group support to primary and secondary students with complex needs, assisting with learning activities and daily routines.
Offer personal care support, including help with toileting and feeding, while ensuring each student's dignity and well-being.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement tailored Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and manage behaviour positively and effectively.
Create a supportive, safe, and engaging environment that helps students to thrive and reach their full potential.

Requirements:
Willingness to travel up to an hour to work.
Legal right to work in the UK.
Experience working with children or young people with special educational needs, particularly complex needs, is highly desirable.
Ability to provide personal care support, including toileting and feeding, when required.
Strong communication skills, patience, flexibility, and a positive, team-oriented approach.
Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain all necessary clearances.
Hold, or be willing to apply for, an enhanced DBS (child workforce) on the Update Service.
