Zenith are looking to attract an experienced Lecturer in Health and Social Care in the Wrexham area.
Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective Health and Social Care lessons across a range of levels and qualifications.
* Deliver both theoretical and practical components of programmes in line with curriculum requirements.
* Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation, achievement and wellbeing.
* Differentiate teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners.
* Incorporate current health and social care legislation, policies and industry practices into teaching.
* Assess student work in accordance with awarding body and organisational requirements.
* Provide timely, accurate and constructive feedback to support student development.
* Monitor attendance, engagement, progress and achievement.
* Develop and implement intervention strategies to support learners at risk of underachievement.
* Participate in internal verification, standardisation and quality assurance activities.
Essential:
* Level 5 Teaching Qualification (PGCE or Certificate in Education).
* Experience teaching Foundation Level Health and Social Care.
* Enhanced DBS.
* EWC Registration – FE Teacher category.
Hours: 24 contact hours per week, Monday to Friday
Level of Learners: Entry Level
