About the role:
As Lecturer in Esports, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment from Level 1 through to Level 6. You’ll play a key role in developing and enhancing the curriculum, engaging students through practical, theoretical and digital approaches that reflect the modern Esports industry. You'll also contribute to student recruitment, industry enrichment, and progression planning.
Your day-to-day will involve:
• Delivering engaging and innovative lessons across Esports qualifications
• Supporting students to achieve positive outcomes and timely completions
• Developing industry links for placements and real-world exposure
• Advising students on future progression and career paths
• Contributing to the development of creative and digital learning resources
What we’re looking for:
• Level 3 qualification (or above) in a relevant subject
• Teaching qualification and assessor award (or willingness to achieve)
• English and Maths at Level 2 (or equivalent)
• Strong industry knowledge with the ability to bring Esports to life in the classroom
• A team-focused educator with excellent interpersonal skills and a drive for student success
This position will be primarily based at the Worksop site, with occasional flexibility to support delivery at other campuses as required.
