Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £42,000 per annum
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week, year-round
Contract: Permanent
Are you a qualified electrician ready to take the next step in your career? We're looking for an inspiring Lecturer in Electrical Installations to join a respected education provider's construction and built environment faculty in Cambridgeshire.
This is a rewarding opportunity to pass on your expertise to the next generation of electricians, delivering high-quality teaching and practical training across Levels 1-3.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging lessons, workshops, and hands-on sessions in electrical installation and associated subjects.
Design and update course materials aligned with industry standards and evolving technologies.
Support and guide students with constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and improve curriculum delivery.
Take part in open events, student recruitment activities, and community engagement projects.
About You:
NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent as a minimum).
Assessor and IQA qualifications, or willingness to achieve them.
A recognised teaching qualification, or a willingness to gain one.
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at Grade C/Level 2 or above, or a commitment to obtaining them.
Strong industry knowledge, including current regulations (e.g. 18th Edition) and emerging trends.
