Job Description
Strategy Education are working with a FE College in Leigh on Sea, Essex who are recruiting for a Lecturer of Functional Skills.
The role is Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm, 30 hours per week.
It starts immediately and is a long-term post.
The successful candidate will have:
* Strong subject knowledge in L1 English and Maths
* Effective lesson planning and delivery
* Ability to assess and track learner progress
* Differentiation for mixed abilities and learning needs
* Confident classroom and behaviour management
* Clear communication and feedback skills
* Basic digital literacy for teaching and admin
* Good organisation and time management
* Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential
Pay: £30 - £40 per hour
Overseas trained teachers and ECTs are welcome to apply.
