Lecturer in Supported Learning  Location: Cambridge  Rate: £27 per hour Contract: Temporary – 4 weeks Hours: 22.4 hours per week We are currently seeking a dedicated Lecturer in Supported Learning to deliver Entry Level Functional Skills English to learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by supporting students in achieving their learning goals within an inclusive and nurturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver accessible and engaging Functional Skills English lessons at Entry Level. Support students with a range of learning disabilities, adapting content to meet their individual needs. Monitor, assess, and record student progress against learning outcomes and EHCP targets. Work closely with the wider support team, including learning support assistants and SEN coordinators. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom culture focused on student wellbeing and achievement. Manage behaviour professionally and supportively to ensure a focused learning environment.Requirements: Experience teaching Functional Skills English within a supported learning or SEN setting. Understanding of EHCPs and the ability to track and support targets. Strong communication, organisational, and behaviour management skills. A teaching qualification is desirable, along with experience in inclusive education.This temporary role offers a chance to make a meaningful contribution to learners who benefit from personalised and supported delivery.
