Lecturer / Senior Lecturer (Teaching) in Medical Education and Assessment Sub Department Three Counties Medical School Location Severn Campus Salary £38,784 to £56,535 per annum pro rata Post Type Part Time Hours per Week 18.5 Contract Type Permanent Closing Date Tuesday 14 July 2026 Interview Date Tuesday 28 July 2026 Reference TCMS2612 We are seeking to appoint a 0.5fte Lecturer / Senior Lecturer with expertise in Medical Education and Assessment to support our assessments across the Three Counties Medical School (TCMS) at the University of Worcester. The successful candidate will be part of an assessment team responsible for the development and quality assurance of assessment materials, including SBAMCQs and OSCE stations aligned with MLA and PARA standards connected to the MBChB and MSc PA courses. Key responsibilities will include: - Integrating assessment practices into the curricula - Managing digital assessment systems (risr/assess, Examwrite, MSC Assessment Bank) - Coordinating examiner training and overseeing post-assessment review processes - Providing academic support and remediation for students as required Applicants should possess a strong background in healthcare education and a specific interest in medical assessment frameworks. Good teamworking and communication skills are essential. Appointment at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications and experience.
