Job Description

Anderson Knight is partnering with a respected legal services firm to recruit a Legal Administrator for a full-time position. This is an administrative support role within the consumer services team, focusing on remortgage operations. You’ll collaborate with customers, service partners, and internal teams to help ensure cases are processed efficiently and accurately. This position is well-suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent attention to detail, and strong organisational abilities. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm Fully office-based, located in Glasgow City Centre Salary: £25,000-£27,000 DOE. Key Responsibilities: • Open and set up new cases in the relevant case management system. • Communicate with customers and third parties to gather required documentation and verify identity information. • Upload, review, and distribute key documents, such as instructions, statements, and supporting materials. • Enter and update essential data accurately across case files and records. • Manage shared inboxes, responding to or forwarding emails as appropriate. • Handle all customer information and documentation in accordance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Provide general administrative support to the wider team, including following up on outstanding items and making routine phone calls. Requirements: • Proven experience in office-based administrative roles, ideally within the mortgage, legal, or financial services sectors. • Understanding of the remortgage process and associated lending documentation. • Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy. • Proficient in IT, particularly Microsoft Word and Outlook, with experience using document management systems. • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment. • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal. • Familiarity with legal case management software, is preferred but not essential. • Experience working in a regulated environment or handling confidential client information is preferred but not essential.
