Legal Assistant - Residential Property Team
A permanent opportunity for a skilled Legal Assistant to join a busy Residential Property team, providing efficient conveyancing support in a dynamic and busy environment. Based on-site in the Emsworth area, near Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Open new client files accurately and promptly
Prepare and issue quotations, following up to secure instructions and gather feedback
Review completed registration title documents thoroughly
Report to clients and lenders upon completion of registration
Keep clients, estate agents, and other solicitors informed of transaction progress
Manage incoming post, coordinate with fee earners regarding necessary tasks, handle queries, and agree on appropriate actions
Essential Skills and Attributes:
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload independently
A legal background essential.
Flexibility to prioritise tasks in response to changing demands
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable and trustworthy, maintaining strict client confidentiality
Self-motivated with excellent communication skills
