Legal Consultant – Wills, Trusts & LPAs (Admin Focused)
Location: London-based with regional travel
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 + Commission
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9am–6pm, Friday 9am–5pm (39 hrs/week)
Start Date: Within 4 weeks
Are you a confident, client-facing professional with strong administrative skills and an interest in legal services or estate planning? We’re recruiting on behalf of a growing specialist consultancy offering a structured pathway into the Will writing and estate planning sector.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with experience in customer-facing advisory roles who is looking to develop a career in legal consultancy within a well-supported and values-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct structured one-to-one meetings with private clients (in person and via MS Teams/Zoom)
Draft Wills and associated legal documents using proprietary software
Advise clients on the best ways to structure their Wills and associated products (training provided)
Prepare and manage Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) applications
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in CRM
Follow up with clients to complete outstanding details or documentation
Manage your diary and coordinate client meetings effectively
Support wider team and attend regional roadshows (occasional overnight stays may be required)Essential Skills & Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in client-facing roles (both face-to-face and remote)
Excellent administrative and organisational skills
Confident using MS Office and business software
Strong written and verbal communication
A proactive, flexible, and can-do attitude
Clean UK driving licence (car not required – travel costs covered)
Ability to work remotely and travel regularly in/around LondonDesirable (but not essential):
Background in financial services (e.g. mortgages, insurance, estate planning)
Experience in Will writing, legal administration, or LPA preparation
Working towards or interested in STEP or CILEX qualifications
