Legal Cashier – Glasgow (Hybrid) – £30,000 to £34,000
On behalf of our client, Anderson Knight is recruiting for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a highly regarded law firm based in Glasgow. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility, excellent team support, and a competitive salary of £30,000 - £34,000, depending on experience.
The Role – Core Responsibilities
As a Legal Cashier, you will play a key role in the day-to-day financial operations of the firm. Your core tasks will include:

Recording day-to-day financial transactions for both client and office accounts
*
Identification and allocation of client receipts
*
Processing office and client payments
*
Raising and banking cheques
*
Handling deposit account transactions, including lodgements, uplifts, closures, and new accounts
*
Allocating payments to client fees
*
Producing and processing balance reports
*
Reconciling client balances and deposit accounts
*
Investigating and managing residual balances
*
Providing cover for other departmental tasks when required
*
Working with various online banking systems
*
Complying with the firm’s information security policies and protecting confidential information at all times

Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
