Job Description
Search are currently supporting a large law firm in the centre of Leeds who is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join their growing finance team! The role would be suited to someone who has a years experience and is wanting more exposure.
Job Duties:
Assisting with the process of financial transactions
Ensuring the office, client and nominal account ledgers are up to date
Checking and data entry of bills
Taking both internal and external calls, including taking card payments
Daily banking
Raising cheques in accordance with fee earners or support staff instructions.
Maintenance of the firm's petty cash system and processing of expenses
Ensuring that transactions and processes comply with the SRA Accounts Rules, HMRC regulations and other relevant legislation and guidanceWhats required:
Worked in a similar role before
Competent with Microsoft packages
Ability to work to timed deadlines
Analytic
Ability to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skillsWhats on offer:
Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 17:00 or 09:00 - 17:30
Enrolment into profit share scheme as it is an employee owned business
23 days annual leave plus bank rising with service up to 31
Annual bonus payment based on company performance
