Job Description
Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a respected Local Authority, based in Worcestershire, which is looking for a dedicated Legal Clerk to join their busy Commercial Legal Team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced legal administrator or junior legal professional seeking to develop their public sector experience in a varied and rewarding environment.
Location: Worcestershire
Contract: 1 month (long-term sick cover with potential extension)
Umbrella Rate: £15.66ph
PAYE Inc. Rate: £14.23ph
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare legal documents for Commons searches, Highways Orders, and Notices, ensuring compliance with legislation.
Manage correspondence and telephone enquiries, liaising with internal teams, the Planning Inspectorate, and external stakeholders.
Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, website updates, financial system assistance, and office cover.About You
Strong administrative and organisational skills.
Ability to interpret legislation and manage multiple priorities.
Previous experience in a legal or local authority setting is desirable.What’s on Offer
