Job Description

Legal Secretary – Commercial Conveyancing Up to £35,000 Winchester (SO23) office-based (flexibility available following successful completion of probation) A well-established law firm is seeking a proactive and experienced Legal Secretary to join its Commercial Conveyancing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to support senior legal professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in assisting a Senior Solicitor and Legal Executive with a range of administrative and legal support tasks. Your responsibilities will include client interaction both in person and over the phone, document preparation (including digital dictation), file management, and supporting the completion process. You'll also be involved in preparing standard legal documents, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence, managing diaries and appointments, and providing quotes to prospective clients. We’re looking for someone with prior experience in conveyancing, strong IT skills (including MS Office), and excellent audio typing capabilities. A solid understanding of the conveyancing process is essential, along with a professional and organised approach to work. This role is primarily office-based, with flexibility available after the probation period.
