We are working with a long-established and highly regarded law firm in Surrey to recruit an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary. This is a full-time, permanent, office-based position, offering a supportive working environment and the opportunity to play a key role within a busy conveyancing department.
The successful candidate will bring recent Residential Conveyancing secretarial experience, gained within a fast-paced, client-focused legal environment. Strong organisational skills, accuracy, and a calm, professional manner are essential, as you will be supporting a fee earner and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a Residential Conveyancing fee earner
* Audio typing and document production with a high level of accuracy
* Preparing and maintaining client files and case documentation
* Producing Oyez and SDLT forms
* Overseeing completions and managing associated processes
* Handling incoming and outgoing telephone calls in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner
* Managing client enquiries as the first point of contact to ensure exceptional client care
The firm offers a competitive salary of up to £32,000, alongside discretionary bonuses for support staff. This role is ideal for a candidate who enjoys working within an office-based team, thrives in a well-organised environment, and has a genuine commitment to delivering excellent client service.
