Job Description

Legal Secretary 6849 Location: Tetbury, Gloucestershire Hours: 4 or 5 days per week (09:00 – 17:00) Contract: Permanent Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (pro rata if part-time) Job Description Our client is seeking a Legal Secretary to provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support within a small and professional legal practice. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, supporting legal processes and maintaining accurate documentation and communication. Key Responsibilities of a Legal Secretary * Provide day-to-day administrative and secretarial support * Prepare and format legal documents and correspondence * Manage client files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records * Act as a key point of contact for client and office enquiries * Handle incoming calls, emails and general correspondence * Manage diaries, appointments and scheduling * Support document production, including audio typing where required * Maintain filing systems, both digital and paper-based * Ensure confidentiality and compliance with legal procedures * Support wider administrative tasks and office operations as required Key Skills of a Legal Secretary * Previous experience in a legal secretary role * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * High attention to detail and accuracy * Strong organisational and time-management skills * Confident using Microsoft Office applications * Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload * Professional and personable approach * Ability to work independently and as part of a small team For more information please contact Katie Tyrrell at First Base Employment
