OVERVIEW: A fantastic opportunity for a Legal Secretary to join a well-established firm of solicitors in York. This position offers the opportunity to become a part of a great team in a business that provides a great culture. THE ROLE: The role of Legal Secretary is to support a busy team who assist clients throughout the UK and beyond. You will work closely with the team providing secretarial duties. The role requires good knowledge and experience of day-to-day administrative tasks to be carried out. Working hours are 35 per week (Mon-Fri, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch). Typical duties: York File opening. Dealing with enquiries (face-to-face, over the telephone and via e-mail). Preparing letters and documentation. Dealing with correspondence and other documentation in an accurate and timely manner. Photocopying documents. Other ad-hoc duties as and when required. THE CANDIDATE: Have secretarial / administrative experience. Be a positive self-starter. Have good attention to detail. Be a strong team-player. Have strong organisational skills.
