Location: St Albans, Greater London
Salary/Benefits: £25k - £42k + Training & Benefits
Our client is a privately-owned Water Hygiene / Legionella specialist, who have recently won new contracts in the South East of England. They are seeking a Legionella Risk Assessor, ideally based within or close to the M25. The company can offer great training support, so they are able to consider candidates who are looking to build on existing Legionella Risk Assessing experience. Ideally, applicants will be located around: St Albans, Potters Bar, Harrow, Wembley, Enfield, Welwyn Garden City, Harlow, Ilford, Romford, Dagenham, Chigwell, Grays, Tilbury, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Bromley, Croydon, Sevenoaks, Caterham, Oxted, Epsom, Sutton, Mitcham, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Weybridge, Woking, Bracknell, Reading, Slough, Windsor, High Wycombe, Chesham, Maidenhead.
Experience / Qualifications:
- Experience in undertaking Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems
- Qualified with the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
- Fully versed in the ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
- It would be beneficial to hold hands-on experience as a Water Hygiene Engineer
- Plumbing / remedial knowledge and experience would support applications
- Hardworking attitude
- Good literacy and IT skills
The Role:
- Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments on domestic hot & cold systems across a range of commercial, public sector and domestic sites
- Producing detailed reports to highlight any risks as well as make technical recommendations
- Water sampling
- Temperature monitoring
- Providing tailored technical advice and recommendations to clients
- Working to personal targets
- Representing the company in a professional and positive manner
- Travelling to client sites as required
