Responsibilities As a Legionella Risk Assessor, your critical responsibilities will encompass: Performing Legionella Risk Assessments of water systems across diverse industries and geographies. Auditing complex management protocols and planned preventative monitoring regimes. Conducting a wide range of water hygiene tasks like water outlet flushing, temperature checks, and sampling. Undertaking comprehensive written scheme audits and leading internal quality assurance assessments. Traveling to client sites to support projects locally, nationally, and potentially internationally.Qualifications To excel in this role, you should bring the following expertise: A City & Guilds qualification in Legionella Risk Assessment. Established knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as ACoP L8, HSG274, and BS:8580. Experience with sophisticated water systems, including water softeners, vehicle washes, and industrial processes. Proficiency in conducting written scheme of control audits and delivering actionable insights. Strong interpersonal communication skills for seamless coordination with clients. Excellent reporting and documentation capabilities. Adeptness in software tools like Microsoft Word and Excel. The ability to meet Enhanced DBS and MOD security clearance requirements, ensuring your readiness for work in sensitive environments.Day-to-Day Your daily routine will involve: Travelling to various client locations to conduct assessments with a mix of local, national, and global exposure. Collaborating with the Water Hygiene Team as part of a multidisciplinary operation while also working independently where necessary. Guaranteeing compliance with international water safety standards via thorough risk assessments and detailed audits. Offering clients clear, professionally written reports with actionable recommendations.
