Responsibilities
As a Legionella Risk Assessor, your key responsibilities will include:
Conducting comprehensive Legionella risk assessments in accordance with ACOP L8, HSG274, and BS 8580-1 standards.
Preparing detailed reports with actionable recommendations and clear action plans.
Advising clients on effective control measures and ensuring compliance with water hygiene regulations.
Managing your own schedule and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
Providing expert guidance to clients across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor.
Relevant qualifications, such as City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing.
Comprehensive knowledge of Legionella management and water hygiene practices.
Strong communication skills for detailed reporting and client interaction.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
A full UK driving license (essential).
Prior experience in water treatment/hygiene or working across commercial, industrial, and healthcare sectors (desirable).
Day-to-Day
Your typical day will involve:
Traveling to client sites in and around North London to conduct risk assessments.
Collaborating with clients to provide tailored advice and solutions for water hygiene compliance.
Preparing and delivering detailed reports with actionable recommendations.
Staying informed about the latest industry regulations and standards.
Managing your workload and schedule independently while maintaining high standards of service delivery.
