Job Description:
As a Lesson Supervisor, you will oversee classroom activities during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that students remain on task and maintain a positive learning environment. You will manage behavior, deliver pre-set lessons, and provide support where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise students during lessons, ensuring a calm and productive atmosphere
Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and activities in the absence of the teacher
Assist students with their learning tasks and answer any queries
Manage classroom behavior in accordance with school policies
Report back to teaching staff on lesson progress and any issues
Ensure the safety and well-being of all students in your care
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school environment or working with young people is advantageous but not essential
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
Ability to stay calm, flexible, and proactive in different situations
Genuine interest in education and working with students
Eligibility to work in the UK
A valid DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
