📍 UK-wide Travel - Mainly South of England

My client are seeking a self-motivated LEV Engineer to join their growing field team, helping to ensure safe working environments in educational settings across the UK. If you’re experienced in LEV testing and enjoy working independently while travelling nationwide, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
This role involves visiting schools, colleges, and universities to carry out LEV tests, primarily on small extraction systems used with bandsaws, saws, and similar equipment.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Conduct Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) tests in educational Design & Technology workshops
Work across the UK, typically Monday to Thursday, with travel and overnight stays
Plan weekly travel routes and manage accommodation bookings via an internal portal
Maintain clear, accurate service records and documentation
Deliver excellent service while representing the company professionally
Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Work independently and as part of a supportive team
🧰 Qualifications & Experience
LEV testing experience is essential
BOHS P601 or equivalent qualification (desirable, but training can be provided)
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
No issues with DBS checks (as required for work in educational settings)
