Permanent Level 2 & Level 3 Teaching Assistants – Secondary School, Westhoughton (BL5)
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time & Part-Time Positions Available
Start Date: September 2025

We are working with a welcoming and supportive secondary school in Westhoughton who are looking to appoint passionate Level 2 and Level 3 Teaching Assistants from September 2025.
These roles will involve providing in-class support across a range of subjects, working with small groups, and delivering one-to-one interventions to pupils who may need additional help to achieve their full potential. You’ll work closely with teaching staff to create a positive learning environment and make a real difference in students’ education.
The school is easily accessible from the M61, with strong public transport links and free on-site parking.
Requirements:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
Enhanced Child DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
Experience supporting pupils in a secondary school setting (desirable but not essential)
Ability to work closely with teachers to support lesson delivery, learning, and behaviour management
A positive, proactive approach with a passion for helping young people
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities
