£14.25-£17.00 per hour

Looking for flexibility in Early Years?

We are recruiting a Level 2 Qualified Early Years Practitioner to support a busy and welcoming Children's Centre in Islington. This is an ad-hoc position, perfect for practitioners who want the freedom to choose their own working pattern while continuing to gain valuable Early Years experience.

Your day-to-day duties

Supporting children aged 0-5 with their learning and development

Assisting with indoor and outdoor play activities

Helping to maintain a safe and engaging environment

Supporting meal times, routines, and transitions

Working closely with senior practitioners and the wider Early Years team

Encouraging children's confidence, independence, and social skills

We're looking for someone who

Holds a Level 2 Early Years qualification

Has previous experience in a nursery, preschool, or children's centre

Is enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable

Enjoys building positive relationships with children and families

Has a good understanding of the EYFS

Can work effectively as part of a team
