Job Title: Level 2 Nursery Practitioner
Location: Bexhill-on-Sea
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

A nurturing and inclusive nursery in Bexhill-on-Sea is seeking a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner to join their early years team. Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through engaging, play-based learning.
Assist in planning and setting up stimulating activities that support children’s development.
Build positive, trusting relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Support children’s personal care routines and promote independence.
Observe and contribute to assessments and learning journals.
Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at all times.
Work as part of a collaborative team to ensure every child thrives.
Requirements:
A Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting is preferred.
A caring, patient, and energetic attitude.
Basic understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
