About the Role:
As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the curriculum. You'll assist in delivering engaging lessons, provide individual and small group support, and help to create a nurturing learning atmosphere where every pupil can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Support teachers in planning and delivering lessons that engage and challenge pupils.
Provide targeted support to pupils who need additional help with their learning.
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Assist with classroom organisation, displays, and preparation of learning resources.
Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Follow safeguarding and school policies to ensure pupil well-being.
Requirements:
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience working with children in a school setting.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
