ABOUT THE SCHOOL
Prospero Teaching is seeking a Year 2 Teaching Assistant for a Primary School based in Middleton.
The school is a warm and supportive environment with a dedicated team of staff who are passionate about helping every child achieve their full potential. The school continues to go from strength to strength and offers regular CPD opportunities throughout the year.
Depending on performance, the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
Location - Middleton
Position - Year 2 Teaching Assistant
Start date - November 2025
Full time/part time - Full-time
Minimum rate of pay - £103.95 - £110 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 15:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience supporting children in a UK primary school, ideally in Key Stage 1
Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) preferred
Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year
A passion for supporting children's learning and development
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
